Non-professional Working Experience

Sep/1997 – Dec/1998. Male Nurse during my National Service.

My duty was to nurse the patients 24 hours a day and help the Doctor of the battalion’s infirmary. I was also responsible for the effectiveness of the sanitary unit duties which included the receipt and sufficiency of the medicine, the sterilization of the surgical instruments, the patients’ book, and the readiness of the ambulance. My battalion was manning from 250 min - 660 max men. The infirmary had the ability to nurse 5 patients and treat all cases of primary medicine.

Nov/1986 – Sep/1996. Several jobs for survival and finance of studies.

During my studies I worked hard so as to be able to finance them, which forced me to interrupt them and not have the luxury of time to be totally devoted. Most of these jobs were not stable and unfortunately there is no possibility to attribute evidence on them. It was very difficult for an employer to accept a student on a long-term basis to work, as he knew in advance that he would interrupt during the exams period. Indicatively, I have worked as a waiter, as a porter in the market, as a worker in farm labors, in workshop sampling, in workshop of placarding and as a model in Fine Arts School. At the same time, I did not lose contact with dentistry and at my own free will, without payment, I used to assist in various dentists in Thessaloniki.
